Tangy Pepper & Onions

The topping you didn’t know you needed

Ingredients

1 large yellow onion, sliced

2 red (or orange or yellow) bell peppers, sliced

1 tbsp of avocado oil

1/2 tsp of salt

1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar

Directions

First, chop your onions and peppers and set aside. In a medium pan on medium heat, add avocado oil. Then add in the onions and sauté for 7-10 minutes, until they get lightly browned. Then add in the peppers and sauté for 5 minutes, until peppers are soft. Sprinkle in the salt, give everything a stir, and let it sauté for 2 minutes. Finally, add in the apple cider vinegar, stir, and sauté for a final 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add to your nachos, tacos, sandwiches, hummus, burgers, etc.
